Aaaand now it was time to PAARRTAAY! Baylee didn't think I was weeeird. Okay, really I'm fine. No, honestly, I'm not strange at all. Okay, maybe I am. But I was also very pleased. I mean, my gesturelike thingomabobbywhatsit had been accepted by her. I was so happy. But I was now going to take it slowly. Step by step. I didn't have to rush into it. Hold on, rush into what? I promised myself I wouldn't think about these things. Oh well. If you believe that promises shouldn't be broken, does it still count if they're with yourself? Well, from now on it doesn't. From now on, promises only HAVE to be kept, if they are to or with other people. Promises to myself just don't work. Nuh-uh. Not at all.
So she wanted me to take her somewhere. Like I was totally gonna be good at that. Sure, she'd only been there like, three days or something, but what about me? I'd only arrived that morning. And IIII was the one looking for warmth? Fine. But chances were I wouldn't have any more luck than she would have. Smiling at her comment, I nodded, scanning the horizon for any sign of..... Well, anything really. But all I saw was:
Well, anyway, I saw a whole lot of sand. And for some reason, I figured this wasn't what she was talking about. Whhyy wasn't there ANYTHING? Ahh well. We'd just have to go for a nice look now wouldn't we? Grabbing her hand, I pulled her after me as I began to walk, making sure I let go ASAP. Well, you know, as soon as she'd got the message we were going somewhere.
"MMkay. All I see is a whole bunch of SAND, so it looks like we MAY have to search a bit.
Slowly, but kind of sort of briskly (if that's at all possible) I made my way towards a large sand dune that seemed to be blocking my view. Damned sand dune. Just cause it's all high and mighty. Oh great. Now I am mad. I'm paying out SAND. Phew, I have NO hope. At any rate, I walked over the sand dune, Baylee in tow, and guess what I found? Bet you didn't. Oh well, I'll tell ya anyway. It was this restaurant type thing, only it wasn't a restaurant, more like one of those seaside cafe whoseewhatsits. Like, where they sell fish and chips and stuff? Yah. Them. And as I got closer, it surprised me. There were PEOPLE in there. Oh my god, astonishing I know, but yeah. As in, it wasn't CROWDED, but it was like..... There were enough people for it to be cosy. In fact, it seemed perfect. Turning to Baylee, I shrugged my shoulders.
"This place good?"
I waited for her to reply, a questioning, yet still happy (aaalllways happy ) look on my face. I liked to think of my constant happiness as relaxing, but you know, everyone has their own opinions.
